‘Clinically, I Was Dead’: Shreyas Talpade Opens Up About His Near-Fatal Heart Attack; Actor Recalls How Doctors Revived Him
Bollywood and Marathi actor, filmmaker, Shreyas Talpade left his family and friends worried when he suffered a heart attack in December 2023. He underwent an angioplasty and is currently recuperating at home. He has now opened up about his experience during an interaction with Bombay Times. Revealing how he has never been hospitalised in his life, the medical emergency made him realise that his health is more important than anything else.

Having constantly worked for over two decades, the 47-year-old actor recalled feeling ‘extremely fatigued’ because of his hectic work schedule. Talking about the day he went into cardiac arrest, Shreyas recalled that he was shooting for the multi-starrer Welcome To The Jungle and performing military exercises when he got the heart attack. He started to feel breathless, his left hand started to ache, and he could barely walk to his vanity van and change his clothes. ALSO READ: Shreyas Talpade Suffers HEART ATTACK? It was a massive cardiac arrest. The doctors tried CPR, electrical shock, that’s how they revived me. A wake-up call would be an understatement. This is my second chance at life. Jaan hai toh Jahaan hai. For the past 28 years, I have just been focussing on my career. We take ourselves and our families for granted. We think we have time.”
